• Do you Deliver in My Country?

We deliver all over the world from Argentina to Zimbabwe (except where prohibited by law or UN sactions).  Since 2007, we have satisfied customers in 28 countries. Here are testimonials from our customers and you may recognize your friend or neighbour who bought from us in the past.

• I see prices in dollars. Can I pay in my local currency?

When you pay online using credit card, your bank will deduct equivalent amount in local currency  from your account.  So as long as your credit card supports international payments, you can buy from us online.

• What are shipping charges to my address?

Currently we offer Free Shipping in India for orders above Rs 300.

We can tell you shipping charges, once we know your address and the items in your shopping cart. So please go ahead  add items to cart by clicking BUY button. Click  Checkout and  you will be shown shipping charges for standard and express shipping applicable to your order. If you are satisfied with shipping charges, you can goto to next step to give us payment details. If you are not satisfied, you can simply exit. 

Since you haven't given us any payment details yet, there is no risk to just find shipping charges.

• Where  do you ship from? Where is your office?

There are multiple partners/providers using maayboli platform and they ship from different locations. 90%  of the books are shipped from India. If your order has items from multiple providers, you will see multiple invoices categorized as per those providers.

Our offices are in Boston, USA and Pune, India.

• Any tips to reduce shipping charges, especially for marathi books?

Most of the books have equivalent prices as if in  India (except a  very few shipped from USA). Suppose you ask a friend or relative to buy a book from India and ship to you, they will have to pay the same shipping charges like us. So please consider us as your friend who will search a book for you in India and ship to your destination.

1. The shipping charges are calculated per weight slabs. So the shipping charge for the second (or third or fourth..) book is significantly less than first book till you go into next slab. So buying multiple books at a time is one of the best ways to reduce per book shipping charges. You can play with adding and deleting books from your cart.
2. It is quite common for our customers to connect with local friends and give a common order. This not only reduces per book shipping charges but also allows multiple choices for sharing or form a book club.

• I haven't been in touch with Marathi lietrature for a while. Can you suggest some new marathi books?

Here are a few ways to find new marathi books.

1. Goto our front page and you will see a few books featured by us.
2. Below every book, there are some suggestions based on other customer's orders.
3. Maayboli has two online groups Aksharwarta (for new books by maayboli partners) and Wachu Anande (discussion about books) where you can find reviews about various books.
